» Gandhi ji Ashram
Situated on the banks of river Sabarmati, this is the most moving memorial

» Shaking Minarets
One of the most amazing specimens of Muslim architecture, it is special

gardens but now it comprises of Bhadrakali Temple. It was erected during
Aazam Khan's reign.
» Darwazas Of Ahmedabad
These gateways were around the Fort Of Bhadra and served as an entrance to
the Royal Square. It was built so that all the Sultans of the palace could
see the processions from the palace to the Jama Masjid.
» Kankaria Lake
It was originally built by Qutub-Din-Aibek and now serves as a popular
recreation spot for the people of Ahmedabad. This beautiful island place was
the favourite haunt of Nurjahan and Jahangir.
» Modhera
It is very famous sun temple in north western Gujarat. Located 119 kms from
Ahmadabad, this temple is a quintessential model of art and architecture of
the 11th century. The temple is beautifully carved out with the paintings of
gods, goddesses, flowers, birds and beasts.
