Day 01 : Cochin (Morning)
Arrive Cochin and transfer to Hotel.

Afternoon
City tour of Cochin - Visit St. Francis Church, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch Palace and see the famous Chinese Fishing Nets.

Evening
Enjoy a Kathakali Dance performance at a local theatre.

Day 02 : Cochin – Alleppey (63 Kms / 1 ½ hrs) (Morning)
Drive to Alleppey to board the houseboat (an wooden boat with inbuit rooms as like in a hotel) for the overnight trip to Kumarakom. The cruise takes you through remote villages along the tranquil backwaters of Kerala. Lunch and dinner on board.

Day 03 : Kumarakom (Morning)
Disembark at Kumarakom – An unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight stay at : Hotel in Kumarakom Day 04 : Kumarakom – Periyar ( 140 Kms/ approx. 3 ½ hrs)(Morning)
Depart Kumarakom for Periyar by road. Arrive Periyar - Lying close to the plantations, in the rich jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the most fascinating natural wildlife reserves - the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar , however, are the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. Transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05 : Periyar (Morning)
Boat ride on lake Periyar.

Visit to Spice Plantations.

Depart Periyar for Cochin by road. Arrive Cochin and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities.
