» Tipu's Summer Palace
Started by Hyder Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan, this massive structure
is an example of Mughal architecture. The beautiful monument houses

» Cubbon Park
A beautiful 300 acre park, is situated in the heart of the city. It was the
creation of Lieutenant General Sir Mark Cubbon in 1864. This green park has
various attractions like Rose garden, Dolls museum, Jawahar Bal Bhavan with
a mini theatre and a toy train.
» Bull Temple
Built by Kempe Gowda in 16 th century, the bull temple is based on
Dravidian style of architecture. Also called as 'Nandi temple', it comprises
of a huge monolithic bull which is 4.5m tall and 6 m long. The most amazing
thing is that the bull has been carved out of a single granite rock which
makes it look awesome.
» Government Museum
The Government museum boasts of being the oldest one in India. Built in
1886, the museum houses a huge collection of coins, sculptures inscriptions,
old paintings, excavated items and distinguished art and antiques of
Mohenjodaro.
