Day 01 : Delhi / Agra
Morning depart for Agra (4.30 hours drive). Upon arrival proceed to the Taj
Mahal (Friday closed) - the architectural modern day wonder of the world,
built by Emperor Shahjehan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Afterthat visit to Agra Fort - stands on the banks of the river Yamuna
making itself quite dominant in the whole area. Designed and built by Akbar
in 1565 A.D., the fort is surrounded by a 70 foot high wall. It houses the
beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangiri Mahal,
Diwan-i-khas, Diwan-i-Am and Moti Masjid. Overnight stay in Agra
» Day 02 : Agra / Delhi / Onward Destination
Morning proceed to visit Fatehpur Sikri (35 kms and 01 hour drive). This
town was built by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. He had planned this city as his
capital but shortage of water compelled him to abandon the city. Fatehpur
Sikri is the best example of the culmination of Hindu and architecture
Muslim
After that drive to Delhi. On arrival Delhi, leave for onward destination.
