Day 01 : Delhi
Arrive
Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi - Haridwar
Morning city tour of Delhi. Afternoon drive to Haridwar, the Gateway to God
which is 222 kms. & approx. 06 hrs. drive. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 03 : Haridwar - Rishikesh - Haridwar
Sightseeing tour of Haridwar, includes visit to the Har-Ki-Pauri, the most
popular bathing ghat of Haridwar has a foot print on stone which is said to
be that of Lord Vishnu. Afternoon drive to Rishikesh "Plaits of the
Sage" which is 24 kms. from Haridwar. Evening, after attending the “aarti”
drive back to Haridwar. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 04 : Haridwar - Delhi
Drive back to Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 05 : Delhi - Mathura - Agra
Drive to Mathura, which is 149 kms. & approx. 03 hrs. drive Sightseeing
tour of Mathura, associated with the life of Lord Krishna, whose birth,
childhood and adulthood in and around the city are richly woven in to the
poetry, music and dance that are part of Indian Tradition and Culture today.
Then drive to Agra, which is 51 kms. & approx. 1 hr. drive. Overnight in
Agra.
Day 06 : Agra - Varanasi
Morning city tour of Agra including Taj Mahal and then drive to Agra
Railway Station & connect the overnight train for Varanasi. Overnight on
Train.
Day 07 : Varanasi
Arrive
Varanasi in the morning. Transfer to Hotel. Varanasi is also known by its
ancient name Kashi and is the most important place of pilgrim for Hindus.
Sightseeing tour includes visit to the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple,
Tulsi Manas and the Banaras Hindu University. Later visit the Sarnath, the
buried Buddhist City where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.
Day 08 : Varanasi - Delhi
Morning boat ride on River Ganges. Afternoon connect the overnight train
for Delhi.
Day 09 : Delhi
Arrival Delhi. Day free for own activities. Evening departure transfer to
airport to connect flight for onward destination.
