Arrival
Chennai - the fourth largest city in India and the capital of Tamil Nadu
state. It is known as "The Gateway to the South". On arrival,
transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting Fort St. George, St. Thomas
Mount, Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery. Overnight in
Chennai.
» Day 02 : Chennai / Mahabalipuram / Kanchipuram /
Chennai
Morning drive to Mahablipuram (65 kms and 1.35 hrs drive) to visit Shore
Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas, Varaha Cave,
Mahishamardini Cave and Ganesha Ratha. After that proceed to Kanchipuram
which is 75 kms and 02 hours drive - the Golden city of temples. Visit the
famous Ekambareshvara Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple, Kamakshi Amman
Temple, Devarajaswami Temple and Kailasnath Temple. Kanchipuram is also
famous for its silk fabrics and sarees. Evening drive back to Chennai hotel
for overnight stay.
» Day 03 : Chennai / Onward Destination
Departure transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
